Travix Accessibility Statement (EAA and WCAG Compliance)
Our Commitment
At Travix, we believe that travel should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to creating an inclusive digital experience that allows all users, including those with disabilities, to search, compare, book, and manage their trips independently and with ease.
This Accessibility Statement outlines the current accessibility status of our services and the measures we are taking to meet the standards set by the European Accessibility Act (EAA), EN 301 549, WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and applicable Dutch legislation.
Scope of this Statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to the websites and services managed by Travix, specifically:
Main Booking Pages
- Home page
- Flight search results page
- Checkout flow
- Post-sale booking summary page
- Manage booking detail pages
These pages are substantially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 standards through native development, without relying on third-party overlays.
Support Pages
- Blog pages
- Campaign and promotion pages
- Destination and itinerary pages
- About Us and information pages
These pages are partially compliant. A UserWay accessibility widget is available as an optional enhancement tool until native remediation is complete. Overlay tools are provided as an additional convenience and do not replace native compliance with accessibility requirements.
Third-Party Services
Travix incorporates third-party elements (e.g., external payment gateways, provider iframes) that are not under its direct control. Their accessibility depends on the commitment of their respective providers.
Accessibility Features in Place
We have enabled the following features across our core services:
- Screen Reader Compatibility: Fully usable with leading screen readers.

- Error Feedback: Clear and descriptive error messages for user inputs.
- Simple Language: Content and interfaces designed for cognitive accessibility.
- Accessible Brand Standards: Typography and color contrast tested against WCAG 2.1 Level AA thresholds.
Users may optionally access additional assistive features via the UserWay widget where available.
Current Compliance Status
Currently, Travix services are:
- Substantially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 for core booking flows.
- Partially compliant for non-core informational content, with gradual improvements ongoing.
- Supported by automated scans, third-party expert audits, and user testing involving people with disabilities.
This statement serves as a partial declaration of compliance with EN 301 549 (V3.2.1, 2021-03).
