A self-transfer itinerary consists of multiple flights combined by BudgetAir.it and operated by different airlines that do not have an interline agreement. Therefore, after booking, the itinerary will be split into multiple bookings and the tickets will be issued separately. They will be sent electronically directly to your inbox. Self-transfer itineraries may require completing entry/exit procedures, collecting baggage, and checking in again during the transfer. Therefore, it is essential to have the required travel documents for the relevant countries and regions. Make sure to obtain any necessary visas for check-in on each flight.

With this guarantee, BudgetAir.it will provide tailored assistance in case of issues with the planned transfer for a connecting flight due to changes, cancellations, or delays of other flights.

How it works

• Alternative flights ✈️
  If a flight is missed due to changes, cancellations, or delays of other flights, BudgetAir.it will rebook the affected segments free of charge in accordance with the airline’s policies.
  Maximum fare, including taxes.

• Alternative transport 🚌
  If alternative transportation (bus, train, etc.) is needed, BudgetAir.it will cover the associated costs.

Or

• Refund 💵
  If the tickets have not been used, a full refund will be provided for all affected segments (some airlines may offer this in the form of vouchers).

After contacting BudgetAir.it regarding changes, cancellations, or delays of the flights in question, an alternative plan will be предложed. If the new option is accepted, costs for meals, alternative transport, and even accommodation can be covered to facilitate the journey. Here’s how to benefit from these advantages:

1. If the trip is disrupted due to a flight change, cancellation, or delay, inform BudgetAir.it via phone, live chat, or email.

2. Once the situation is known, an alternative travel plan will be prepared. Accept the proposed solution or suggest another plan within 24 hours.

3. In some cases, alternative flights can be purchased through third-party channels. See the conditions below. Proof of payment must be provided within 14 days from the original scheduled arrival date.
